Rail replacement and development
Older and thinner rail than used elsewhere on the track has been replaced with a heavier gauge rail.

Funds raised for the Australian Bushfire Victims Relief Fund
With the help of other clubs, several Fire Service contingents, Northland Helicopters and other organisations we raised what was for our volunteer clubs a not insignificant sum of money to be handed over to the Red Cross to go toward the growing fund total to help the Australians impacted by the devastating fire(s) in the State of Victoria. 2nd basement track progresses
The building of the new rails into the clubhouse basement has made progress with a working bee in Saturday 11th October 2008 extending the 2nd storage rails to the far basement wall.
