WMEC Open Weekend - January 09

Over Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and till mid-day Monday 26th January 2009, the Whangarei Model Engineering Club is host to other clubs members and their loco's from around New Zealand. Every Auckland Anniversary Weekend of each year (the weekend of the last Monday in the month) the club holds this event and offers the public a chance to view and ride behind a much wider variety of steam, electric and petrol locomotives that members from other clubs bring with them.
