Rail replacement and development

The latter months of 2009 saw several working bee's take place to remove the older & thinner rail that came with us during the move from Tarewa Park, from around the back of the mountain.

With the replacement came some additional changes with a new set of rails linking the inner to the outer rails on the far side that overlooks the main road, SH14, and on the nearer side, by the loco shed, a new crossover has been put in that allows us to set the main line to provide an extended ride by going twice round the mountain-top, not the once as at present.
